Standard groups are a great way to compare people to the general population. On this group of pages, we have provided graphs of the standard groups in several countries. The three sets of graphs are Basic Profile, iWAM Section 1, and iWAM Section 2. Basically we have divided the patterns that iWAM measures into three groups to make it easier to read the graphs.
The Basic Profile graphics include 8 aggregate patterns, defined as follows:
| BP1 : | Action Level: starting (the amount of initiation) & following (the amount of patience). |
| BP2 : | Action Direction: Approach (the amount of goal orientation) and Avoid (the amount of focus on problems) |
| BP3 : | Evaluation Reference: Individual Motives (the amount of internal reference) and External Satisfiers (the amount of external reference) |
| BP4 : | Task Attitude: Alternatives (the amount of options) and Procedures (the amount of structure) |
| BP5 : | Task Orientation: Breadth (the amount of overview or large scope) and Depth (the amount of detail) |
| BP6 : | Communication Sort: Non-Verbal or High Interaction (the importance given to non-verbal communication) and Low Interaction or Neutral (the importance given to content) |
| BP7 : | Work Environment Type: High Group (the importance given to social contact) and Individual (the importance given to social independence) |
| BP8 : | Work Assignment Type: Sole Responsibility (the importance given to being responsible oneself) and Shared responsibility (the importance given to sharing responsibility in the team) |
